Want some amazing ideas on what to buy your Dad for Christmas? Well, keep reading. This tricky customer is always difficult to buy for, but I have put together this amazing gift guide to give you Christmas gift ideas for dad that will please any father this season.
Dad Gift 1
Firstly let me tell you about an amazing gift I received from Happiness is a gift. This company specialises in personalised gifts for all occasions and you can find so many wonderful gifts for everybody on their website.
I chose this beautiful wooden pen pot and had it personalised for my blog and everyone loves it. It’s made from walnut wood and is a solid piece of stationery that will be loved by anyone. A Dad who spends time in an office or a Dad who likes arts and crafts and needs to store paint brushes or pens/pencils will cherish this. Buy it for your dad and get it personalised for a lovely little Christmas gift.

Sticking with the theme of practical presents, the next gift I found is a little corker. I was at The Spirit of Christmas Fair in Olympia, London and came across a company called Ginko electronics. They have so many innovative and amazing products and they are all practical, stylish and amazing. One of the new products they have is the R Space Lamp. When closed, this lamp looks like a 3D ‘R’ shape, but when you open it, it transforms it to a stunning lamp. The lamp can be plugged in at the mains or charged up so it is fully portable. A seriously great present for a cool Dad. Go check it out.

At the same Christmas fair, I came across a lovely little company called Atlas London. Atlas specialise in producing and designing products of Thuya Burr, which is a conifer grown in North Africa. The timber is provided under government licence from an area that is engaged in sustainable planting. Atlas sell a range of products that Dad would love. I especially like their gorgeous wooden watch/cufflink boxes. If your Dad has a section of watches and cufflinks, buy him a well made box to display them in. When I saw these boxes, they instantly reminded me of Morocco. They have that traditional look about them. Well made boxes with that traditional rustic vibe. A lovely elegant gift for Dad.

Another company I discover at the Spirit of Christmas fair was Mixpixie. If your Dad is into nostalgia, retro items and music, you’ll never need to look anywhere else for a present for him. Mix Pixie have some amazing retro gift ideas, from Vinyl clocks to personalised playlist advent calendars. An awesome gift for Dad would be their personalised sound wave cushion. You choose your Dad’s favourite song and Mix Pixie will create a sound wave of the song and print it on to the cusion. You can also add text under the sound wave. A beautiful yet unusual gift that will be loved by dad forever. Go have a look at Mix Pixie and get your music loving dad a great gift this Christmas.
Dad Gift 5
Does your dad love DIY and odd jobs around the house? Does he have a Man cave or a little workshop at the back of the garden? In that case, I may have just found a great gift for him. Giggy and Bab create beautiful yet functional stepping stools that are manufactured in the UK. These multi purpose stools are well made and will be loved by Dad. A practical functional Christmas present for the dad who likes hardcore DIY or the dad who just wants a nice stool to have a cuppa in his shed. Either way Dad will love this one.
Dad Gift 6
Last, but certainly not the least, buy your dad a subscription box from Roy’s Boy’s.
Roy’s Boys provide a sock subscription that will be delivered to your Dad every month. Spread the joy of Christmas all year round and give Dad an annual subscription of socks. Let’s face it, which dad doesn’t need new socks. However, of you feel a sock subscription is too much, Roy’s Boys also do a variety of gift boxes and matching family gift socks too. Check them out and find some funky socks for your Father.
There you have a few Christmas gift ideas for Dad. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. Feel free to leave comments or come talk to me on Twitter or Instagram.
Until next time Gift Goonie is over and out.
