What kind of Dad do you have? My Dad is the ‘Old Fashioned Dad’ type. He is a creature of habit. He likes what he likes and no one can tell him any different. Hence buying my Dad a gift is a blessing and a curse. I want him to discover the brave new world and he wants to sit at home and drink tea. You see where  I’m going with this? What do you buy a guy who has everything he wants/needs for Father’s Day. Buying him a funky gadget will not cut the mustard as he’s stuck in his ways. So what do I do? I update the traditional stuff he likes or buy him a gorgeous jumper from ….. insert Dad’s favourite shop here.

Anyway, Father’s Day is just around the corner and I thought I’d provide awesomely fantastic Father’s day gift guide for my readers, whilst catering to your Dad ‘type’.

So you’re going to get a list of Dad types and you can pick the one that most resembles your Dad. Once you know your Dad type, take a look at the stupendously brilliant gift examples and find your lovely Dada the perfect gift.

Let’s get cracking!

The Technology Obsessed Dad

Techie Obsessed

Firstly up on the Father’s day Gift Guide is the dad who likes the latest and most up to date gadgets. This Dad is the Alexa owning, FitBit wearing, Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus using type of man. Here are some ideas on what to buy Gadget loving Dad.

1.   Wireless head phones

2.  Leather Tech Roll **

3. Soundasleep Smart Pillow

The Protective Dad

This Dad is the one who stays awake until you’re home. The one who tells you to be safe and come back home at a decent hour. The Dad that picks you up from your night out. The one that makes you comfort food when you’re in a mood; basically, the one who just protects you as much as he possibly can. Get this special guy something good. My Father’s day Gift Guide suggestions are:

The Workaholic Dad

This Dad type sees his role as the Provider. He’s the one who works extremely long hours so his children can have everything they ever need.
